形態特徵

• Shrubs or trees, branches slender, young branchlets densely covered with appressed scaly hairs.
• Leaves chartaceous, crowded at tip or scattered along branches, oblong , 3–5 cm long, 1–2.5 cm broad, apex broadly acute, apiculate, base cuneate, margin entire, recurved, upper surface green, lower surface pale, appressed strigose on both surfaces, midrib raised on lower surface, lateral veins 4 or 5 per side; petiole 5–8 mm long, densely appressed furfurescent or appressed strigose.
• Flower solitary; calyx lobes elongate-ovate, densely strigose; corolla white or light purple, deeply 5-lobed; stamens 5, filaments slightly pilose at base; ovary and base of style pubescent.

分布

• 台灣 : in forests at 1,700–2,200 m in the central and southern parts of the central ranges.
